If it seems like we just moved the clocks back a few months ago, it’s true: we now spend only four and a half months, much less than half the year, on Standard Time. So crank up all your non-smart time devices this Sunday with Acoustic Sunrise, as we “spring forward,” losing an hour and throwing off our inner clocks so that it’s later than you think for about 10 days. (My dog loves this time change though, as it’s time for dinner before he knows it!)

Daylight Savings Time now starts in November, the Sunday after Halloween, and ends in early March. Hawaii and Arizona do not participate and stay on Standard Time, except for the Navajo Nation on tribal lands in Arizona. So prepare for darker mornings but light-til-late evenings, with some timely tunes this Sunday morning from 6 to 11 am (don’t be late!) on Acoustic Sunrise with Rosalie!

I’ll also play a new call-to-action for laws to curtail gun violence: “Dear Congress” by Disaptch. Proceeds from this single benefit the Brady Campaign to End Gun Violence. Catch an exclusive acoustic performance here.
