So, you got to see Roma for “free” if you didn’t go in theaters. Well, the price of seeing movies from the convenience of your own home is going up just a bit the next time around.

Netflix is raising the price of subscription in the U.S. by 13 percent to 18 percent, depending on the plan. The most popular plan will go from $11 to $13 per month, for two streaming devices at once.

We assume the money will be going towards Netflix’s investments in original programming and help with the debt the company has accumulated in its attempts to beat out Amazon, Hulu, HBO, and more. This is only the fourth time it has raised its prices but the first time it will affect all US subscribers. Previously, there remained a basic $8/month plan while the price for more premium options increased. The price for the most basic plan will increase to $9 per month. The premium plan will jump from $14 to $16 per month.

The new prices will roll out over the next three months.
