In-N-Out has more than just a Secret Menu, according to SFGate. Here are a few facts that you may not know about your favorite burger.

First, if restaurants could vote…In-N-Out has always been conservative and recently donated $25,000 to the state’s Republican party. This donation even caused a large boycott on Twitter in which angry customers decided that maybe Five Guys is better after all. But truthfully, they made a couple equally significant donations to a PAC that supports Democratic candidates.

Also pretty recently, In-N-Out added hot cocoa as their first new menu item in over a decade.

Online you can order strangely high-end In-N-Out merchandise in “Vault Forty-Eight.”  Items include Swarovski-studded keychains, high-end watches, and pricey paintings.

Less surprisingly, famous chefs including Julia Child, Gordon Ramsey, and the Barefoot Contessa are reported fans of the chain. Anthony Bourdain even called it his favorite place to eat in LA, calling it “the only fast food chain that I actually like and think is reasonably good for the world.”
