Since April, Twenty One Pilots has been dropping clues regarding plans for their new album, spurring a multitude of fan theories. Wednesday the duo finally put some of those theories to rest.

Ending their year of silence, Twenty One Pilots announced two new singles, a new music video, album release date, and a world tour.

While upbeat single “Nico and the Niners” has Tyler Joseph alternating between singing and rapping over a psychedelic reggae beat, “Jumpsuit” reaches toward progressive rock with heavy drums over distorted bass. The video, directed by Andrew Donoho, features Tyler in bizarre situations: on the hood of a burning car, lying in a river, being chased by a masked man in a red cloak riding a white horse, all while lyrically suggesting we may be diving into the artist’s psyche.

The duo’s two singles will be featured on their 5th LP Trench, set for release October 15. In an interview with Alternative Press, Tyler reveals his intention to stray from the uptempo Grammy-winning album, Blurryface, and a focus on lyrics.

The duo’s world tour, the Bandito Tour, begins October 16 and comes through Oakland November 11. Fans must be “verified” before July 15 in order to order their tickets during presale July 17 and general sale July 20.
