Beer For Breakfast with Seismic Brewing Co.

What does beer from a sustainable brewery taste like? Damn delicious! Seismic Brewing Co. was our guest this morning on Beer For Breakfast, and not only do they make amazing beers, but they were also recently recognized as being “The Facility of the Year” by the CWE for their effort to produce beer in the most the most sustainable way. From the water they use, to the packaging and glassware, Seismic places a big importance on ensuring that they leave as small a carbon footprint as possible.

Brewmaster Andy Hooper was happy to share the story behind Seismic’s approach to brewing as well as walk Alicia and I through a tasting of a number of their amazing beers including their Oat Pale Ale (OPA) Namazu and their traditional IPA Megathrust.

Listen in below for all the beer knowledge and make sure to check out Seismic this weekend while they are pouring beers as a part of the Bacon and Beer Classic at Levi’s Stadium.
