You already know what is it; favorite part of the week, Beer for Breakfast! This week Alicia and I get a visit from Regan Long, co-founder and Brewmaster of Local Brewery Co. here in San Francisco. No joke, these beers were quite lit, as the kids would say. Regan walked us through a tasting of the Bluxome Black Lager, which won awards at the 2015 California State Fair. Then it’s on to the All In The Family, a pale ale brewed with terpenes which are the aromatic oils from cannabis  (a cousin of hops). Regan had to explain to us that the beer will not get you high (which was wildly disappointing to me), as it lacks THC the psychoactive component of cannabis, but it is absolutely delicious nonetheless. Lastly we move on to the Belgian Bump which combines the tasty flavor of a traditional Belgian golden strong with the added “bump” of Philz Coffee.
