The “king of creativity” himself, Beck, called in to Mornings on KFOG this morning to talk about his new album, but it was all the things that happened in between that make this such a fun interview. Alicia and I, being our typical selves, were singing and rapping about Beck while we waited for him to get on the phone, not knowing he was on the line listening the whole time! It makes for a fabulous start of the interview before Beck gets into the details about his new album Colors. Beck discloses the superstar bassist he tried to recruit for his band, but ultimately lost out on, and how Tom Petty influenced his music over the years. This is a must listen for all Beck fans!
