BBC news anchor gives ‘most unenthusiastic news report ever’ on surfing dogs

BBC news reporter Simon Mccoy was not having it last night. With exasperated breaths and sarcastic sighs, Mccoy described the 2nd annual World Dog Surfing Championships held in Pacifica with what was probably the least enthused monotonous voice anyone has heard. Without even trying to hide the fact that he was reading off the prompter, he began with a precursor to the rest of this amazing story:

Just bear in mind, it is August… This does not look like a walk in the park. Dog owners and their pets have hit the waves at the 2nd annual World Dog Surfing Championships (audible sigh)

As the package of the surfing dogs rolled, Mccoy let out the most disappointed sigh he could muster, clearly letting us all know that he really didn’t want to do this. He gladly ended the segment with a toss to his weatherman: “the weather, let’s get the latest. On the other side of the newsroom, Ben Rich… can get us out of this one,” to which he replied, “that’s the best thing I’ve ever seen, Simon. They give you all the biggest stories, don’t they?”

Clearly, this news reporter LOVES surfing dogs. Here are some hilarious Twitter reactions:
