Vegan vending machines coming to San Francisco

via leCupboard

Food start-up leCupboard, whose initiative is to “turn our food system right-side up,” is planning to place two mobile vending machines stocked with lentil salads, fruit based salads, and zucchini noodles with walnut pesto in San Francisco. The idea is to offer appetizing, vegan dishes an accessible cost, “changing the notion that health costs.”

Though the locations of the vending machines have yet to be disclosed, we can expect these and future machines to be placed in areas where healthy alternatives aren’t readily available.

While we wait for these smart machines to arrive in San Francisco, leCupboard currently has a storefront location in Noe Valley (1928 Church Street) where we can try all their hearty delicacies. Check out their other creative food options below.
