FiDi gay bar Ginger’s Trois is back after multiple reincarnations and one closing in 2009, when Rickhouse whiskey bar was opened in its place. The area below that bar will now house the much-missed San Francisco haunt.

Curbed SF editor Brock Keeling called Ginger’s Trois “a watering hole of another era.” In an ode to that history, you can order drinks named after gay bars of San Francisco past, like Lexington Manhattan, Deco Lounge Sidecar, and Esta Noche. With great drinks at affordable prices, Ginger’s Trois’ reopening is a much welcomed return.
