Gavin Rossdale and Gwen Stefani got married in 2002 after the two met when their bands, Bush and No Doubt, were on tour together. In August 2015 Stefani filed from divorce from Rossdale, saying the two had “irreconcilable differences.”
Those differences could have had something to do with rumors of an affair between Rossdale and the couple’s former full-time nanny.
Rossdale was recently interviewed and said that the divorce was the opposite of what he wanted, but it seems like Stefani has already moved on. Rossdale told The Sun:
[Divorce] was completely opposite to what I wanted. Really not…but here we are.
And he only has the best to say of his ex:
We had 20 years together and that in itself is pretty incredible. It’s a lifetime. I still think she’s incredible. It was a lovely 20 years and we have three amazing children. There were a lot of positives, and with time they’ll become more and more obvious.
The Bush musician was recently added as a judge on The Voice UK, the show in the US where Stefani met her current boyfriend, Blake Shelton. The two of them are still going strong, with Shelton accepting the People’s Choice Award for Favorite Male Country Artist and gushing over Gwen:
