“Keep It Together” is a reference to a place in life we are at.  Really all we want to be doing is having fun, but that’s easy to lose sight of given external pressures.  It’s just a reminder to not become lame.

Trevor Childs & The Beholders are committed devotees of big arena rock: catchy melodies, sing along choruses, celebrations of good times, cheerfully sung bad times, hand claps, guitar solos (before bad 80s metal ruined guitar solos) and songs with that ol' fadeout magic. File under Cheap Trick, Tom Petty, The Cars, Badfinger as well as contemporaries like the The Mother Hips, The Hold Steady and The Darkness.

Trevor Childs & The Beholders was formed on a drunken New Year's Eve a couple of years ago, when Trevor (vox, guitar) and Chris Dunn (guitar, vox) held an impromptu and accidental Tequila drink-off… and woke up with a written manifesto to bring big rock back to the Bay Area. After hatching the plan (and nursing their hangovers) they recruited SF scene vets Gordon Evans (bass) and Jim Bove (drums, vox) to round out the group.

The group recorded an initial set of demos under the name EVEREST, which earned the band a strong local following and several great shows with national acts like Honeycut and the Lovemakers. After honing their exciting live show, Trevor Childs & The Beholders are now set to drop their full-length debut "Another Friday Night" this September on Jim Greer's Fortune Records (home of The Gun & Doll Show, 20 Minute Loop, and the Rondo Bros. among others).
