The Song: All I Want Is You"

Travis Jones (lead singer, rhythm guitar) penned "All I Want Is You" early in 2006. The song tells the story pretty accurately: Boy meets girl, they fall in love, make plans for a wedding, etc. But at the last minute, boy decides it would be better to just return most of the accoutrements (with the exception of some important wedding shower gifts like the George Foreman grill and a 3 speed window fan) and then proceeds to tell said girl that they should keep their weekend reservations at the Rendezvous Motel anyhow - - makes sense, since its right down the road, right? Bottom line is that what boy really wants is girl - with no need for marriage.

This song emerged from a real-life event - I had been in a serious relationship for over 2 years and plans were being made for a wedding. I got cold feet, so to speak, and made the decision to fore-go the wedding plans and write a pseudo love song instead. The girl in question wasn't exactly happy about the situation, but loved the song - the relationship didn't last, but we're still good friends.
