New venue, new festival attractions, same low price!

KFOG's Renee Richardson has hand-selected some of her favorite local musicians to perform acoustic sets at KFOG KaBoom, all while you sip great local wines poured by our friends from Wente Vineyards.  Check out the performers below:

This year's KFOG KaBoom will include a special expanded area for the youngsters featuring Wackadoodles, amazingly talented and kinetic characters who will entertain kids big and small with acrobatics, games, music and dance, engaging all into their world of fun, arts and even a random flash mob or two!

There will be a Ringmaster on rollerskates, acrobats flying through air, face painters and more, all dressed in outrageous costumes and ready to meet, greet and entertain from 3-8pm. 

And we'll also have interactive inflatable games courtesy of our friends at the 49ers, including the Touchdown Run, Obstacle Course, and Throwing Triangles.

Wackadoodles are part of Gregangelo's Velocity Circus, the premiere Arts and Entertainment Company in the Bay Area, specializing in multi-cultural circus arts, theatrical presentations and arts-in-education programming.  Their non-profit CUE International fosters local youth/local talent development and artistic careers.

KFOG KaBoom Fireworks Cruise

Alcatraz Excursions is offering a rockin' bay cruise for KFOG KaBoom 2010, Northern California's largest fireworks show synchronized to a custom KFOG soundtrack!  Enjoy an evening with family and friends, cruising round the Bay to Candlestick Point - KFOG KaBoom's new home - where just after dark, the KFOG KaBoom fireworks will light up the night sky.  And every guest will go ashore with a free KFOG Music Sampler CD, an exclusive offer from KFOG and Alcatraz Excursions.

Board from Pier 33 on the Embarcadero at 7:45pm and cruise from 8-11pm.

Tickets are $37 for adults and $22 for children aged 5-11, and include a 3-hour San Francisco Bay Cruise and a KFOG Music Sampler CD.  Snacks, soft drinks, wine, beer, and cocktails will be available for purchase onboard the vessel.
