Dave Benson brought in some great music for us. First we heard a track off Sonny Landreth's new album From the Reach. The album features guest performances by Eric Clapton, Jimmy Buffet, Robben Ford, Marc Knopfler and more. We also got to hear a new song from Michael Franti. All Rebel Rockers is the name of it, and it comes out in September.

Aisha Tyler (Friends, Ghost Whisperer) paid a visit to KFOG today. She spent time talking about her upcoming Comedy Central Special, which will be taped at the Fillmore on August 16th.

What did you miss on the KFOG Morning Show?

Wednesday, July 23rd:

The KFOG Morning Show was joined by San Francisco TV critic Tim Goodman. This time Tim stuck around for a while. He talked music - he sparked a lengthy discussion on the greatest American bands/artists of all times; Tim even dove into environmental issues with Zem. Zem Joaquin comes to KFOG from ecofabulous and she's always got great tips for Fogheads.

The lovely Helen Mirren was photographed recently at the shore, basking in a bikini, and at 63 she looks. Click the photo to see the large version.

Tuesday, July 22nd:

Charles "Social Grace" Purdy stopped in to talk etiquette with Fogheads this morning. He took calls and blamed the demise of manners on reality TV. If you have questions of common courtesy visit Dear Social Grace.

Fogheads called in with their favorite things on You Tube; from the Joe Cocker Birthday Greeting, to the Dancing Prisoners in the Phillippines, Japanese Human Tetris, laughing babies, Chad Vader, and the vegetable orchestra. What ever did we do before the internet?

Monday, July 21st:

The KFOG Morning Show spoke with Tim Goodman about the TCA Awards. The Critics Aassociation held thier 24th annual awards show this weekend at the Beverley Hilton. It's the best awards show, that nobody sees! "Mad Men" won for Outstanding New Program,Paul Giamatti took the TCA fo Individual Achievement in a Drama fo his work on "John Adams." And Tim got to present the Heritage Award to one of his favorites, "The Wire." Check the FogCast page to hear Tim from this morning.
