Father’s Day Around the Bay: 6 Things to Do This Weekend

Father’s Day is this Sunday and if you’re looking for something fun to do with your dad, here’s a short list of cool things to check out this weekend in the Bay!

 

1. Father’s Day Beer Brunch Cruise – SF

“I’m on a boat!” Get the fam together for a booze cruise on the Hornblower and enjoy the sights. The beer and mimosas will be flowing. 11:30 am – 2 pm.

 

2. Presidio Picnic – SF

With over 25 food trucks, yoga, arts and crafts and more, this is the perfect way to spend your Sunday with your dad! There’s even a free bike valet if you decide to pedal down.11 am – 4 pm.

 

3. Pirate Festival – Vallejo

Argh! Dress up in your best pirate gear and enjoy shows, food, and more at the Nor Cal Pirate Festival. Just don’t walk the plank! 10 am – 6pm.

 

4. Alameda Island Jam – Alameda

Rides, cotton candy, music, and food trucks galore! The site promises to make this event the best Father’s Day weekend your dad can imagine. Event runs from 10 am – 5:30 pm.

 

5. Jazz at the Dunsmuir-Hellman Estate – San Leandro

Check out this gorgeous estate while listening to jazz and enjoying a BBQ and and cigar lounge. Swanky! 2 pm – 6pm.

 

6. Summer Sunset Skate – San Jose

Grab your skates and get ready to roller disco! Show your dad how it’s done. Starts at 6 pm.
