Looking to get off the couch and go out on a Thursday night? Here’s six cool things to explore around the Bay this evening.

1. Asian Art Museum’s $10 Thursday Nights – SF

Th Asian Art Museum is open late on Thursday nights with galleries to check out, fun talks to listen to, and more! Open til 9pm.

 

2. “Presidio Twilight” Campfire Party with Off The Grid – SF

From 5 – 9pm, come hang out and eat food and enjoy lantern-lit communal lawn domes. vendors will serve tapas-style food while you relax under the stars with friends and fam. Admission is free.

 

3. Under The Sea Prom NightLife – SF

The California Academy of Sciences transforms every Thursday night into a fun, buzzing experience complete with drinks as you discover the aquarium, rain forest, and more! Tonight celebrates World Oceans Day with an inaugural prom. 6 – 10pm, 21+, admission is $15.

 

4. Exploratorium After Dark – SF

The Exploratorium welcomes those over 18 on Thursdays after 6 for a chance to touch, hear, and see exciting exhibits. Tonight’s theme is #SELFIE which challenges us to question how we represent ourselves in modern culture. Admission is $19.95.

 

5. Free Rooftop Stargazing Party “Astro Night” – Berkeley

Free startgazing and lecture open to the public. This event usually takes place on the first Thursday of the month with a 17-inch telescope to gaze at stars to your hearts content!

 

6. Tropical Thursday at Cleophus Quealy Beer Co. – San Leandro
