With one of the sharpest and driest wits around comedian Lachlan Patterson has built a solid career for himself despite the comedic disadvantage of basically looking like a male model.

The Last Comic Standing runner-up and frequent guest of Fox’s Punchlines Lachlan sat down for an interview before his shows at Punchline Comedy Club to talk about the strange business of comedy in today’s cultural climate, how a gig at Yale turned out to be one of the worst comedy experiences of his life, and the very specific reason he chose San Francisco to record his new comedy special.

Lachlan and I also go down an almost literal rabbit hole when we share stories about our experiences raising rabbits and Lachlan gets a lesson on why you should never own a rabbit and a cat at the same time.

Check out the interview below and make sure you stop by the Punchline in San Francisco while he is in town performing and recording his latest comedy special.
