Super nannies are asked to take care of the the parents in addition to the kids

Wealthy parents have recently started hiring super nannies to take care of more than the children.

They’re hiring nannies for themselves.

Having the ability to teach a second language or custom make children’s clothes just doesn’t cut it anymore in New York City’s elite circles. These nannies are now being asked to give mani-pedis, do blow-outs, and do massages for the parents of the house.

Limor Weinstein, owner of nanny-consulting business LW Wellness in Manhattan, revealed that one Upper West Side family even asked for a yoga-certified nanny because “they wanted to make sure everybody in the household was balanced and mindful.” Weinstein’s search was successful and once a week, when the kids are in school, the nanny actually travels to the father’s real-estate office for a 30-minute yoga session.

With a plethora of nannies fighting for jobs in the city, these wealthy families realized that they can get even more out of the people caring for their kids. I guess, when you have that much money to spend, why not?
