Watch: Radiohead was a Jeopardy! answer nobody got right

Jeopardy! has never really been known as a game show for music nerds, but from time-to-time, a music-related category will come up to keep the big brains on their toes. That’s exactly what happened Wednesday night when Radiohead became a part of the show’s lore.

During the “Not In The Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame” category, the moody rockers were featured as an answer to the clue:

Are you ‘Kid A’-ing? These alt-rock legends weren’t part of the class of 2018, their first year of eligibility.

The money leader at the time, Andrew, buzzed in confidently with a terrible response, “Who are the Beastie Boys?,” which doesn’t even qualify as a good guess. Get it together Andrew.

No one else bothered to even attempt to buzz in, although Amy claimed to know the answer. If I had to guess I’d say she would have answered: “Kid Rock.”

In all fairness, Alex Trebek kind of screwed up the clue by pronouncing “Kid -A” strangely, but we can’t blame Alex for this whiff. He’s the G.O.A.T.

Check out the full clip below, or skip to 14:20 for the Radiohead question.
