San Francisco Opera will be celebrating classic Loony-toons on Saturday, April 21 with two fun and FREE events! Grab your popcorn and your friends (or kids!) to cherish these iconic and unforgettable moments.

April 21 – Cal Performances in Berkeley

Cal Performances at UC Berkeley will present the Boston Pops Esplanade Orchestra and conductor Keith Lockhart in a program featuring the music by John Williams at the Hearst Greek Theatre.

The program will include excerpts from classic films scores Jaws, E.T. The Extra-Terrestrial, Raiders of the Lost Ark, Harry Potter, and the Star Wars series, as well as Williams’ new score to the latest Star Wars movie, Star Wars: The Last Jedi.

Fun Fact: John Williams has more Oscar nominations than any other living person!  This year he earned his 51st nod (for his original score for The Last Jedi), maintaining his history-making Oscar status.
