When it comes to climate change, are we past the point of no return?

For this week’s Explain It Like I’m Five Alicia and I are joined by the founder of Climate One at The Commonwealth Club Greg Dalton to help answer the question: When it comes to climate change, are we past the point of no return?

Greg had some really interesting insights when it comes to actions that we can take as individuals to help curb climate change, including his top tip: reduce our red meat intake. Greg goes into some of the specifics of how red meat contributes to climate change from water consumption to cow flatulence (seriously). Greg also addresses the elephant in the room – fossil fuel consumption – and some potential alternatives that may catch on sooner than you think.

Listen in below for the full interview with Greg Dalton and make sure to check out the upcoming Climate One guests at The Commonwealth Club

Explain Like I’m Five is presented by the Commonwealth Club, the nation’s oldest and largest public affairs forum, intent on finding truth and turning it loose in the world.
