It’s a big week for releases on DVD and streaming, which seems to be rare, but hey we’ll take it! Alicia kicks off the podcast with reviews of the Ben Stiller dramedy Brad’s Status, the Tom Cruise biopic of drug smuggler and DEA informant Barry Seal called American Made, and Battle of the Sexes starring Emma Stone and Steve Carrell.

Over on the streaming side, Netflix dumped a treasure trove of classics on New Years Day including what might be the greatest movie of all time, The Shawshank Redemption, and a handful of guilty pleasures headlined by Bring It On 1-5. The clear highlight, however, is the Netflix debut of Jerry Seinfelds’ wildly successful web-series, Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee. Get ready to binge on coffee and comedy!
