This is the ninth episode in our Inside Outside Lands series of interviews. We found performers that took the stage this year at Golden Gate Park that we think are worth checking out.

There’s a couple standard ways that band members will meet each other before forming a group. A lot of bands are formed from childhood friendships, for example. Sometimes people will snatch up musicians from bands that open for them.

This isn’t the case for James Sunderland and Brett Hite of FRENSHIP. The two met while working for a Lululemon store in Los Angeles.

Arthur Ballesteros talked to the two about this, and even got a free Yoga lesson once he learned Hite got really into the exercise.
