alt-J realease new music video for “Deadcrush”


Alt-J’s latest music video for “Deadcrush” off their third album Relaxer is creepy, wild, and literal. It features the band’s answer to the question: what dead historical figure would you most want to go on a date with?

Frontman Joe Newman said Lee Miller, an American photographer. Drummer Thom Sonny Green chose poet/writer Sylvia Plath, and keyboardist Gus Unger-Hamilton went with former Queen of England Anne Boleyn.

The natural choice video would have these three women dancing around a post-apocalyptic cellar, and that’s exactly what they did.

The band is no stranger to pushing the envelope with their videos. The recently released “In Cold Blood” features the narration of Iggy Pop over a bloody scene. Watch below.
