George Clooney sold his tequila company Casamigos for $1 billion exactly. Yes, you read that right; 1 billion dollars!

The company who made the purchase said it will initially pay $700 million, with the potential for another $300 million over the course of a year or so.

Casamigos was originally only available to Clooney’s close friends and family before he started selling to the public. And obviously, it grew from there.

Clooney said he will celebrate the deal with a shot or two. How fitting.
