You may remember Chris Soules from The Bachelor and The Bachelorette.  In tragic news, on Monday night we found out that he rear-ended a tractor on a dark road in Iowa, injuring the other driver.

That man was 66-year-old farmer Kenneth Mosher.  It doesn’t appear that Mr. Mosher tractor had lights, and the collision happened around 8:30 pm. Early reports suggested that Chris fled the scene.  Now we’re finding out that Chris did call 911 immediately.

However, at some point he fled before police arrived and was later arrested with open alcohol containers in his vehicle.  The driver of the tractor, Mr. Mosher, passed away that night at the hospital.

This is all too common and a very sad reminder of the importance of taking control of our behavior and choices.

Always remember if you’ve been drinking to call a cab and save a life!
