Alicia and Arthur are back to break down this weeks new releases on DVD, on-demand, and on Netflix!

This week has Arthur particularly excited for the release of Split, one of his favorite movies of the past year. In the well-produced and impeccably-acted film, Kevin (“Shameless” actor James McAvoy) is diagnosed with 23 personalities…but there is one suppressed that is set to materialize and dominate all of the others.

Arthur also highly recommends the Netflix original The Discovery with Robert Redford, Jason Segal, and Mara Rooney, in which a scientist proves there is an afterlife, causing widespread suicides, while his disapproving son falls for a troubled woman. He’s also highlighting the 2006 sci-fi drama The Prestige with Hugh Jackman and Christian Bale, which hits Netflix April 21st. The Secret Life of Pets will be available to stream the next day.

Alicia raves about HBO’s “Big Little Lies,” the novel-adapted mini-series about a murder mystery in Monterey Bay and the lives of the elite community’s compelling housewives.
